WHAT IS LET THEM EAT CAKE?

LTECSarah.jpg

Ina Du and Brenna Bradbury met in 2015 at NYC's Body & Pole where Brenna teaches aerial arts, and Ina, then a beginner lyra student, takes classes. It's been non-stop shenanigans for these two ever since. Bonding over a love of prosecco, excessive glitter and aerial drama, these two brilliant (and often stupid) minds came together to bring you Let Them Eat Cake: An Aerial Extravaganza!!!

LTEC is a pre-professional focused aerial/circus/pole/burlesque show dedicated to providing space for aspiring performers and high level students to showcase their work. We work with each performer to develop high caliber acts and give them an opportunity to perform in front of an enthusiastic audience. Each show has a different theme (past examples include Glitter & Gluttony, Off With Their Heads, Mermaid Lagoon, Beefcake, and our personal favorite - Meow!). Our cast members come from different backgrounds and studios, creating buzz about circus arts and providing exposure for all the wonderful studios of NYC. Our audiences are exuberantly supportive, loud and proud of these budding performers.

Hosted by Sam Dolick (aka Marie AntoiNOT), LTEC is always an extravagant spectacle inspired by elements of comedy, burlesque, drag, circus and pop culture. Keep your eyes open for guest appearances by aerial and pole superstars. We believe in inclusivity, diversity and positivity for a good time for all!

Ina Du

You know those memes showing a boring brown horse BEFORE and a sparkly magical unicorn AFTER? Well that is exactly what happened to Ina after she discovered aerial lyra in 2014! Since falling in love with flying, Ina has trained more days than not at NYC's Body & Pole with some of the country's best aerialists. She now teaches Open Level Lyra at Jersey City's Body Soul & Pole. She believes in the power of aerial to heal, transform and empower. When she's not training aerial, you can find her living the hustle life or snuggled up with her two cats dreaming of creative new transitions in the air.
